I think my Cories just had Eggs

I see a fry! Actually 2 so far.

I see 4 eggs that are covered in white fuzz, but those were the white eggs to begin with which I read were dead eggs anyway. Plenty of eggs with dark spots in them, so I think they will all hatch today.

4 days and she laid them between 12-6 so nearly 4 days exactly.

Hmm what's the best way of going about that? I'm a bit adverse to using my hand this time.

Oh nvm the tweezers get them out pretty well.

The internet is full of useful information, but every site always leaves out important bits of informations. With that I thank you guys for being here to fill in the gaps.

As for my current 'gap' The fry have hatched they are still alive. They rarely move but they do get out of the way of the little siphon I made out of air stone tubing. When do they eat? I know what to feed them when, but nothing mentions if they just lounge around for 2-3 days after hatching without eating. I know they live off of yolk or something for a vague amount of time, then you need to start feeding them bbs. Today and yesterday I've added a spot of food and the following day it's still there to be sucked out... It's only been 48 hours or so since they hatched (which is as long as I read they used the yolk stuff)

Can someone assure me that everything is supposed to be this way?

Oh and 2 of them never managed to get the egg off their heads. Today one of them was struggling around so I figured I should help and by some miracle poking him with the tweezers got the egg off. Is it a normal thing for them to be stuck in the egg for a few days after hatching. I think there's one more like that, but I haven't seen him.

On an unrelated note, if I'm worrying this much, I worry for future offspring that aren't aquatic..

I don't know about their head staying stuck like that but you got it off so that's good. You will see almost no activity while they are absorbing the egg sac. And they will not eat for the first 3 or 4 days while absorbing their sac as nourishment. I kept mind in a gravel bottom 5 gallon for a while and fed them Hikari first bites, but also threw some snails and baby plecos in with them to help consume the leftover powdered food and they did real well. Mine seemed to mostly do a hop-swim kind of thing for the first couple of weeks, staying in the gravel cracks and hiding while they put on a little growth and got stronger. Don't stress too much, things sound like they are going normally. Remember when you do start feeding them, their stomachs are no bigger than their eye, so they will get full fast and be hungry again soon. Tiny feedings, but 4-6 times a day is what worked for me.

i want my cories to breed so badly! i have a trio of emeralds that are "frisky" a lot, but i never see evidence of eggs. course with 9 otos, an 8" pleco (soon to go to his own tank), a cae and 6 congo tetras, i guess i shouldnt be that surprised
