ah man they have a court jester goby @ my LFS.....

hes TINY though!!! like only an inch. but by golly hes a pretty fish!

i want him soooo bad!! but i just dont know!!

what to do , what to do!
 
I got him on hold right now.

im starting to doubt this decesion.

i cant really set up a QT, and he sure is small.

and id be breaking a golden mantis tank rule; "NO FISH OVER $20.00"

ah man, he sure is neat lookin though!

i dont know what ima gonna do!
 
Well its an easy choice...how much is the fish? Ask yourself "how pissed would I be if I flipped a coin and a 50/50 shot of either keeping that or flushing it down the toilet". There's gotta be a threshold where you would say...no way that would be too much money to chance throwing away. But if its not too expensive, then I would probably go for it, it sounds like you know Bane's habits and likes and manage him pretty well. If he eats it, then hey its a $x experience...there's worse things you could spend the money on I guess.

im also just fattenin him up all week.

as of sunday he has eaten, an emerald crab, a hermit, and 2 nice chunks of deli shrimp.

so by friday, he should be fat and lathargic:D
