dude i watched jessica the hippo on tv, My wife and i fell in love! and yeah jinx i want one of those little babies. hehe

How cute. I hear the making great stocking stuffers for the holidays.

Whilst i have to agree, i'm having real trouble keeping the bugger in the stocking...I, of course, tried superglue at first, as i've always plenty on hand, however it would not work, no matter how much i used..

In the end, i borrowed a sewing machine, and stitched the top of the stocking shut...ended up using double stitch, for that extra security...as its still a few couple of weeks till xmas..

Take heed from my experiences....always remember double stitching...that certainly keeps it in there...

Although....

I now have to buy another stocking, for stocking fillers...oh well....sigh...i'll learn one day....and that lesson is to buy a big enough stocking to hold the hippo AND the stocking fillers in one stocking....You see, you can put all the stocking fillers on top, to hold the hippo in there..that way, double stitch aint so neccesary....

I can't believe you didn't think of this first....I mean common sense should dictate Hippo on bottom stocking stuffers on top:hitting::hitting:

a few commonly asked questions
1. Are pygmy hippos friendly?
Although pygmy hippopotamuses look relatively small and docile, they can be extremely aggressive when it comes to protecting their home or enclosure. They are not thought to be social animals. However, our animals are familiar with their daily Zoo routine and do recognize their keepers as food providers.
2. Could they hurt you?
Yes. They have large, sharp, tusk-like canine teeth that are used for protection and defense.
350-500lbs of bad attitude ,yep Ill pass
