I mean it. Do not expect polite customer service when you call in to ask about your upgrade eligibility and I ask what the problem is with the very nice phone you got just six months ago.

(have had one customer already admit to leaving her phone on top of the car, forgetting it was there, driving off and running over it. An HTC EVO no less, which are now nearly unobtainable at any price. alas. also.)

putting your phone in the fishtank would be worse. We will tell the story in the break room and laugh at your misfortune.

I left my iPhone on top of the car once, an didn't realize till I saw it fly off in the rear view mirror. Luckily for me I had an Otterbox and the phone was fine. Not even a scratch on the case :D
 
I've dropped my chocolate touch into a river, pitcher of beer, toilet, gravel, stepped on it, kicked it, rolled it, had my dog chew it, and the thing still works.
