Your run-on grammr gives the impression that you're being less than serious about what you and others are saying. Fishisime was just giving a bit of general advice.

As to why use a cover.

And tropic climate has very little to do with the temperature. It's much more about the humidity. Heat is easy to replicate (buy a heater, voila) humidity less so. So you use a tight-fitting cover to trap the water that is evaportating into the dry air because of the increasaed heat the tank is kept at. You can also use plastic wrap.

Thailand has a natural humidity of around 50%+, Unless you live someplace that can replicate that condition for 3 straight months you need to look at methods to attempt to replicate high humidity. Easiest one is using a tight-fitting cover on the fry tank.

In short, thai's can basically spawn bettas in a bucket because they live in the natural conditions that bettas live and breed in the wild.

We can't, because we don't. We have to work to replicate their natural conditions as best as we can.

I honestly don't care if you listen to me or not. Advice was asked for, advice was given. It's your perogative to listen or ignore it at your discretion.
 
I don't know if it's me, or not but the OP(Original Poster) seems to be acting, or to me betraying a kid, or immature adult. heh.
 
As much as I think it's a *******ly thing to say, I was thinking the same thing. It seems to lack maturity.
