here is the description of the tank. i have a photo and will try to upload it, but no promises because my computer doesn't work that well:

The fish tank is still available. The tank only includes the light
fixture, a few decorations (drift wood, pot) and the custom stand and
cover.

I have had a difficult time selling it, as it has been emptied. The
tank has a crack at the top where the light fixture sits and some
scratches from cleaning on the inside of the tank. There are no other
cracks or leaks on the tank. It has been empty since August of this
year. The tank and stand has been in the garage. The stand needs some
touch up paint. I assure you that the inner scratches are invisible
when it is filled with water.

There are no filters included with the tank, so you will have to
purchase some on your own. But I am throwing in a cleaning instrument.

I'd say it isn't a bad deal at all IF.......the crack is in reference to the plastic top rather than in the glass of the tank near the top. A little epoxy can fix a crack in the plastic. A crack in the glass renders the tank worthless in my opinion.

she said it was the plastic that was cracked.

ok. i will go ahead and get it thhen if it looks line adequate shape when i check it out this weekend.

Just make sure if the plastic around the top is cracked that it isnt the center brace (connects both sides together in the middle) or you might have issues with the tank wanting to bow outwards ...if it is just an area other than the center brace alittle epoxy should do the trick.

her words were "The
tank has a crack at the top where the light fixture sits" i am guessing that she means the inward plastic piece that extends inward from the outer plastic ring that covers the end of the glass. u know what i am talking about?

If that is all it is then there should be no problem if it is just the inner lip that the hood sits on.... and if it is just in one spot it shouldnt effect how the hood would go and stay on anyway.
