i was offered a 75 gal tank + stand for $100. good price or not?

the lady i was talking to about it was really happy that she was able to get that much for it! she said that it has been up in the market for months and no one has contacted her other than me. so i'm just like "i'd be happy to take it off of your hands for $100!"
god i'm pissed! the person who was going to buy it for me for the holidays said that she would rather not because we live too far away from the lady who was going to sell me the tank. =[ the only good news is now she wants to get me a bigger one (90 gallon) which i'm not completely mad about, but i am pissed for having to turn down such a great offer!
