Lol sorry ! I deffinately like the new layout better than the first ones. More room for the fish to move around.

I am struggling with committing to a hardscape...I try to hit the rule of 2/3rds and keep my lines/ height in mind, but with limited space...(not that I think a bigger tank would help.)

I have 3 more pieces of driftwood I could add as well, or maybe replace the rocks with.

I wish I knew more about design. My goal is to create my best tank yet. I want to improve rather than just setup another tank.

This message will self destruct in...1...2...3...

Keep moving decor aroubd and tryibg new things ubtil you find one that you really like. Maybe put all the wood on the right side and move the rocks towards the back left corner and leave the middle wide open

I'd put all the driftwood in the middle area of the tank and add the rocks around the outside perimeter on both sides surrounding the wood.

I like Post #7 with the pink stones in the middle. That layout forms a lot of different "pockets" where you'll be able to add all sorts of plants

The big piece is limited in which ways it can be used, I will post a picture to illustrate why. With that being said, I am not sure I completely understand what you are envisioning.

So far I have to agree, I think spreading the small rocks out a bit might help too...

Hhhhmmm...I did try something like that when I only had rocks, I wonder what it would look like with the DW now.

Here is an idea for the plant layout, I thought it might help you (and by you I mean me) "see" the tank.

Marsliea hirsuta -water clover (BLACK)
Anubias Barteri var. Nana 'petite' or Anubias Nana Golden (RED)
Microsorum Pteropus 'narrow leaf' -java fern (GREEN)
CRYPTOCORYNE UNDULATA (blue)
Limnobium laevigatum -Amazon Frogbit (NOT PICTURED)
