i need help fast! i have an ich outbreak in atank with some plecos in it nd i need to know what to use besides salt.

HI there, sorry to hear about your ich outbreak.. it happens to just about all of us one time or another..
I cured ich in my tank last week (my first outbreak ever) just by slowly raising the temp over a couple days to 81-82 and adding aquarium salt.. cleared up in 2 days..
Not sure about meds, I know there are some but I honestly try to veer clear of them if I can..

Kordon Ich Attack works for me when i get impatient and dont qt and get ich. Its safe to use with snails and shrimp in the tank. I also turn the temp up to about 83-84. Alot of people use just salt and heat with great success as well, just do a search on here for ich or ick and youll find tons of posts on how to beat it. Good luck
im finding that salt might actually be ok to use with plecos after all. i have raisd the tamp and increased airation already
im using salt now with added airation but i have sme jungle ickclear that has victoria green and acriflavine. not sure about that stuff either
