I just started to feed frozen bloodworms to my clown loaches this week and all of a sudden ich appears in my fish tank. Is it possible to get ich from bloodworms? No new fishes were introduced to the tank recently.

I don't think that is possible.

When was the last new fish introduced?
Have you added any new plants or inverts?

Last time I added anything was over 2 months ago. It was only the clown loaches and a sword plant. It's a mystery to me as to how the ich got into the tank. Maybe it was inactive until now?

Is it possible that they've had a very, very mild case of it all along? And it's getting worse now since it's not been treated? Are you having any kind of temperature swings, say day vs. night in that tank? Clown loaches are very sensitive to temperature swings.

Maybe it is the temperature swings that triggered it from the clown loaches. New England weather has been up and down the past few weeks = / Thanks for all your input!
