I think I know the answer, but i just would like to double check.
I introduced new fish Sunday.
This morning,Tuesday, I noticed that 2 of the 3 of them appear to have Ich.
(yes I have a qtank. No I didn't use it :duh: )
anyway, I have begun and will continue heat/salt but here's the question.
Will returning the effected fish increase the chances of successfully trearing the tank? Or should I keep them, since I have to treat the whole tank anyway?
I am not so much concerned about the loss of the individual new fish, as I am about the irradication of ICH from the tank.
Thank you.

Yeah, i guess you could put the infected fish in since your treating the whole tank, keep heat about 90*F and add enough dissolved salt. Do this for about 1month it should go away, worked for me. Clean your water/gravel 20% evey 3days or somthing like that too so you can suck out all the Newborn ICH in your gravel and thats floating around the water.

Thank you. I had already read your artical and it has been very helpful
I know that i will have to treat the whole tank, but I was wondering if removing the fish with visile ICH, at least Those individual ich things ( sorry i cant retain the terminology) would be removed.
But as it turns out, I wasn't able return them, so we are all getting treated at once. Thanks again for the info
