In Last Week When I Saw White Spots On My Newly Added Gouramies I Treated Them With Medicine Localy Available. Now There Is No Ich I Can See In Tank. But Two Of My Dwarf Gouramies Has Ich Like White Spots At Thier Anal Fin Tips, Thier Anal Fins Are Getting Black Also, One Is Getting More Black Area Then Another. Can Anybody Tell Me What Is This. All Other Fishes Are Happy And Healthy (looking).

Hi Guys
Today morning I found one of my gourami died, even that was not effected by that ich.

Tommorow I will try to post pics. Acutally when I saw ich first time, there was so many spots and they increase the qty. When I treated them, all disappear in a week, but on anal fins of two approx 4~5 spots remaining, after some days those fins going to be black. now there is only two or three spots over there and one of them getting better and the fin is coming back to original position. Actually the guys at LFS doesnt know about male and female of most fishes. I bought four and one is biggest of all and have light colors then others. So according to my readings male gouramies are most beautifull and colorfull then females. And I lost those female.

Three Gouramies Died

 three out of four of my gouramies died in four days. I could not understand why?? one of them was more brilliant colors those days and seems so happy. all other are quite fine. Can anybody help me??

Just to ask have you seen any ich on your other fish? Keep in mind the only stage of ich that is generally seen is when its attached to fish. As far as what happened to your dwarf gourami if they had ich when you bought them it is possible they had something else effecting them. I've also heard that in some cases dwarf gourami that have been captive bred are getting to be a less hardy fish. I doubt that they could have been hurting each other from aggresion without you noticing. Another possibility is an adverse reaction to meds. Also how recently have you tested the water in your tank? You don't say what your ph, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels are.
