Ich & Planted Tank

I've decided to leave everything in there. I think the recommendation I'm getting in the newbie forum is to do a half dose of salt and turn the temp up. If I turned it up for short periods of time like a couple days do you think the plants could handle it?

I'm glad to know about the frogs though... I don't want to risk reinfecting the tank.

I have Red Ludwigia, Cabomba, Hornwort, and Anacharis. Do you think these are easily stressed plants (I think maybe they are...). So starting up the co2 shouldn't be a problem?

Ok I'm going to bring the temp to 82*F. This will speed up the life cycle, not kill the ich. Then I will use 1tbs/5g to kill the ich. Everything will be left in the tank.

I'm clear to start co2 today as well? I have everything I need for a DIY setup, I just need to put it together tonight.

Sound good?

Those plants should be o.k. at 82 for a week. Should, but I've not kept cabomba. You're better off leaving the temp high and salt in there as long as possible (up to two weeks).
