Ich tx - Salt vs med??

I have read where some people have treated their ich problem with salt and others with medication. Who of you who have treated ich used either method and with what sucess. Can you share and be specific with your treatment for ich. Also if you used some other sucessful method, please share.

i havent had ick yet but i would never use meds. i would only use salt. here is a link about ick.
