If you use medicine, I used ''quick cure'' or something along those lines, used to treat a bunch of parasite type things like that. I had marine velvet I think, it was like 8months ago. But, I put my fish in a quarantine tank which I set up a day in advance, then left him in there for a week following the directions EXACTALLY. The main reason people use quarantine tanks is that it won’t spread to any other tank inhabitant. Also almost all medication has copper in it, which can’t go in your tank… or else it will be there forever, and invertebrates can’t tolerate trace levels of copper. So, if your sure its ICH and you think you could set up a q-tank in time I would 100% try to save them with medication, just make sure it’s a calm transfer so it doesn’t get stressed out, which could make it worse. So if I were you, only my opinion, I would set up another tank tomorrow… and wait a day to see… while the tank sets up. If you get like a X gallon’s of water tank, use as much water as you can spare from your main tank to put in there with like ¼ or ½ new salt water in it, it should have a heater maybe a power head for some circulation, some filtration (a lot of people use foam filters, which they then throw the foam out when done) I use a hang on back filter with everything taken out of the back and I put a few pieces of live rock in it… its basic filtration but it gives you circulation too. I put actinic lights over him, and it cleared up within two days but I left him in there to make sure it was gone. I forget what he had but it was many months ago. I just thought I’d give you a quick input to your post though.
