hello all i have a headlight taillight tetra that appears to have a ich nodule on its lower lip ,it started about a week ago so i started a salt treatment and rasied temp to 84 or so i appeared to be going away now this morn it looks like its getting bigger again. its about the size of a grain of salt theres one other tetra displaying the same but its smaller.should i add more salt i added about 2 teaspoons per gal. any suggestions?

At 84 degrees, an ich "nodule" as you call it, will drop off within 2 days. If the same spot is there after that, it isn't ich!
I'd suspect a bacteria (some call it fungus...i.e. cotton mouth) but if its just one spot the size of ich, I would keep an eye on it. If it starts growing larger, try melafix.
Another tetra has it too...on the lip? Are they being startled and swimming into things, banging into stuff? Hitting things when startled causes abrasions or worse which are perfect site for bacteria to colonize.
