Gradually lower the temp tho. Dropping it too fast can shock/stress the fish and cause more problems. Glad they all made it. Wish I could find some from the same brood! My sis LOVES neons, but I've had really rotten luck. Going to let the tank "age" a bit before trying to stock neons for her. (It's been running for a couple years, but I need to do some serious maintenance on it.)

I plan on doing it real slow. I started the process last night. I am thrilled to have made it through this outbreak only losing two fish. That has never been my experience with LFS chemicals. I am now a huge proponent of the heat and salt method to cure ick. It absolutely works.
