Ick Help.

I still did my weekly water changes, just to stay in the habit if nothing else. I did add a few corals towards the end of the fallow period because it helped tough out the last few weeks of qting.

I did too with my tank fallow from the brook outbreak. Water changes are simple to do, but very easy to get out of the habit and slack off once fish are back in.

Another question, without starting a new thread, my snails poop a lot, what do you guys do to rid of the snail poops? I get them on the sand bed and makes the tank look dirty. lol, for now I'm just using a turkey bastor and sucking them up and disposing. any tips?

My turbo craps so much that I wonder if he's adding more than eliminating undesirables. The 2 astrea snails also leave a trail of waste. I never imagined snails would produce so much crap.

so basically just have more flow in the tank? I have a 10g and a koralia 1 in it, before even setting up the tank most ppl told me it was too much flow, now it seems not enough, would it be too much to add another korlia nano on the other side of the tank?

Hmm if they are true to their rating you should have 25x turnover with it. You can certainly have more than but before adding one have you tried to just move the powerhead to get better movement just above your substrate?
