I have already said that i did a lot of things wrong with my 20 gallon but now that the cycle is finally almost near done i just have a question about ICK, i have already stated that all of my fish do infact have it and one has already died. They all have it at a pretty severe level. i had no idea how to treat it until recent and i believe that it is already to late. When all of my fish do die (which i feel so bad about) does the ick stay in the tank or do i have to still treat the water?!

Once all the fish die, the ich will not have any hosts to sustain their population and will eventually die after 24-48 hours if they cannot find any more hosts around. Of course, you'd have to increase the temperature just to be sure the increased rate of life cycle prevents the ich from staying around your tank too long without the hosts.
