You can frag a coral, put the frag in different conditions (light, flow, etc...) and it could grow up with vastly different form than the parent colony. Unfortunately, apperance can be gravely insufficient for coral id. The polyps on your new frag may be different due to shipping/fragging stress or a number of other issues. Most likely, as the frag gets more accustomed to your tank and grows in, it will look more like the kenya tree you already have.
