Would any be able to ID these two plecos for me?

The first one is about 4 inches (first two pictures)

The second is about 6-7 inches the first is under a year old the second is almost two years old. (third Picture)

THANKS!

And if possible how large would each one get?

My guess would be Hypostomus plecostomus, also referred to as the common pleco.
they can grow 1-2 feet in length.

First one looks like a Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps the second I cant tell from that shot. Gibbiceps grows to bout 18" and IMO look better with darker gravel cuz in a light colored substrate like your sand they stay kinda washed out in color.

At first I was going to say pterygoplichthys pardalis, but you do bring up a good point with the washed out color so.........pterygoplichthys sp., will grow 18-24"!lol

The bigger one does look similiar to the Hypostomus plecostomus pictured on www.planetcatfish.com

I agree that it is a hypostomus sp. There are a lot of hypostomus that look very similiar though. Most hypostomus stay under 12" I believe.

Thanks! It seems that I am going to need to find new homes for both of these guys...

Ummmm yeah I think you need new homes too lol. I had three pterygoplichthys gibbiceps but gave them away to a LFS bout a month ago. You should look into Bristle Nose Plecos if you really want plecos or possible a Clown Pleco they stay small.

Im currently looking at either getting BN Plecos or some Clowns myself. Still debating though.

I'm liking the clown. I was thinking about getting one from the LFS about two days ago and switching the to plecos I have now. I'm jus tnot sure whether a Pleco is even a good choice to be tank mates with paired convicts.
