ID needed - now with pics!

Ok so i found this guy yesterday

and have no idea what it is..? it has tentacles, i tried to get a pic but it's not so good

the tentacles are always out.
it does not retract if scared.

I am not positive, but maybe a small rock anenome, hard to tell exactly from pic. I know it can be difficult to get good pics of tiny things in the tank. Good luck.

haven't felt it but looks stringy to me

just goin off the visual, you dont gotta touch it.

it looks to me like a real badass feather duster.

an anem will be "gooey" lookin and all the same stuff.

a duster, will have a hard tube (that is on the rock, or in a hole in the rock) and then the "duster" comes out of that.

If it were a duster it would retract into it's tube when you got close to it.
It might also be a cup coral hard to say for sure.

i know it not a duster, i have a ton of those badboys. hmm cup coral... i don't think so, but it's sooo small. the center is neon green and the tentacles are clear - they look a lot like my candy cane's tentacles but they are always out.

It almost sounds like a polyp.

Possibly something from the Dendrophyllidae family of corals.:huh:

hmm a great mystery. the LR it's on has another wierd thing going on... there are 2 feather dusters growing on it that are unusual (for the run of the mill hitchhikers). they are dark banded and look just like the hawaiian (i think) duster i had in my tank (that has since died or just gone MIA). they seem to be growing and i'm wondering how big they'll get..? the LR has been in the tank since march so i'm surprised these thing have only recently popped up.
