that is not a snail. its an aiptasia for sure. but it can also be some type of coral that came with your live rock.

i know its not aiptasia for a fact. this thing looks like a polyp of somesort. it closes up and looks like a closed button polyp during the day and only opens at night when my moon light is on. that is not a characteristc of aiptasia it is more like a coral but is strange because it only comes out at night.
 
It could be a ball anemone. That's because of that ball-like ends of the tentacles.

Search the Internet for those. I had them, too, but they vanished when I changed the lighting.
They were active day and night and always stood very small.

But opening tentacles at night only is typical for corals that photosynthesize during the day.

The ball anemone is actually a relative of the mushrooms.

Aiptasia is normally active day and night, too.
