Thanks for all the help so far. I have power compacts that are 260 w over a 75 gallon tank. Is that enough lighting for it? Do I need to add anything to help it multiply?

It's ok, I confuse my students too.
That's plenty of lighting. No special feedings or anything required. Dosing a little iodine now and then helps. For the most part, if you just keep from moving it around or bothering it, you should see it start to drop buds within a month or so.
