Can I keep an ID shark in a pond? I've had them in tanks before but they sometimes get agitated and try to jump off. The tank is securely covered but what about a pond? Are they likely to jump outside the pond even if the water space available is a lot more? The 2 ID sharks are 15" long and are currently in a 6ft outdoor tank.

Doubt the jumping will be an issue in the pond, as long as it's big enough. There's nothing that's going to be likley to startle them from the side, just above. Their barbels will do a lot to keep them aware of things around them in the pond, it seems vision is where they get startled, by seeing things approaching them that they can't sense with their barbels.
