HELP, id shark swimming erratically
Yesterday my 180g tank has 4 black neon tetras showing 1-2 spots of ick, so I treat the whole tank. 2tsp salt /gallon (7.5 cups dissolved in 2 gallons water). Added this solution 1 cup every 15 minutes starting at 1:00pm. Increased temp from 78 to 82, 1 degree every hour. No signs of stress.
Bedtime, everyone eats, seems fine.
Husband leaves for work early, so he always wakes the fish. Wakes me this morning at 5:00am, something’s wrong with Psue. Iridescent shark, Psue, is swimming in corkscrew pattern, not a logroll where they spin but stay in one place. Spinning and swimming at the same time.
Too much salt? Temp too high? Any ideas?
