Long brown and stringy. Covers Java fern and anubias. Also the green looking algae on the anubias. It doesen't scrape off. about 90 watts of light, 50 % water change a week, all I add is "Leaf Zone". Tank is established. Low tech, no co2, Nitrates less that 15. Tank is 36x18x18. Apologize for crappy quality. I don't believe it is diatoms either.

i thought the beard algae was shorter and thicker, this is long and stringy, like 2 inches long, maybe its just wishful thinking, the blue on the anubias is so small it looks to be part of the plant.
 
All I know is you should cut back your lighting to about 65 watts. Do a max cleaning. Frequent water changes. Monitor your feeding. Track your water chemistry and pray.

The lighting is fine. Its only 1.8 watts per gallon. ;)

It looks kind of like Brush algae. But also looks like it might be staghorn. Its really hard to tell.

How long do you leave your tank lights on for?

How much aeration is in the tank? If only a filter, you might want to try an airstone in the tank. Sometimes increased aeration will improve algae. I'd try to manually remove what you can, including affected leaves.
 
I would suggest you stop adding Leaf Zone and start adding Flourish excel. Essentially swapping out the iron for the carbon plus a little algaecide.
 
Well, I just did about 70 percent water change, cleaned the crap out of it, The bulbs I am using are a 4 foot fixture on a 3 foot tank, Plant and Aquarium Bulbs... (Im poor....) and a 3 foot fixture with a 30 watt. They are T12's, I leave the four foot fixture on 12 hours a day, 2x40, and the extra 3 foot fixture is on about 8 hours a day, I just cut off the infected java fern and anubias, and we'll see from there. Should I not dose the iron (only fert i have or use for a while and see?) Im new to plants, and its not a "planted tank" per se, but more a tank with some plants. Any other help will be much appreciated

You could do a black out. Turn the lights off and wrap the tank in a blanket for a week. After that don’t add anything to the tank. I’ve never actually done that to a tank but it does seem to work. Perhaps someone who has will chime in.

Alternately you could just start the Flourish excel treatment. If I were only going to add one thing to my tank that is what I would add. Perhaps later when the annubias starts turning a little yellow you might want to figure out why.
 
Does excel really "replace" co2? I will go out and get some next time im out. I hear good stuff about it, but I haven't used it yet.
