I am wondering what type of african cichlid this is? I got it from the assorted tank. If it is a hybrid, what do you think it was bred between?

Yes but what kind?lepidosiren paradoxa - S.A. lungfish? It's definitely not an Aussie cause it doesn't have that stupidly cute look to it's face.
There are several species covered under "SA marbled lungfish". Inka gave the scientific name of one kind. This is why we don't use common names :headshake2:
