Looks extremely perch like... Am I at all on the right track?

I am just taking a random guess and I don't even know if this is a real specie of fish that I am about to name it is just the name that came to mind.

That being said here is my guess: Speckled Sunfish?
 
Not a Centrarchid either
 
Tilapia are Cichlids
