I got this plant, along with others from another member; I thought it was a large java fern but now I am not so sure...any ideas?

sounds like hygro..........hhhhhmmmmm.
Thanks!

Have you asked the person you received it from? Doesn't look like a fern, I'd agree with some type of Hygro.

cool! Sounds great for the back of my tank. Thanks for the input!

it's in the back of my tank and takes up so much space i had to tie it back. its in my 125 gallon thread in my sig. once it takes to you tank it wont stop growing. you should have 2wpg or higher. since they are medium light plants.

It looks like the one I have. I guess it could be hygrophila Corymbosa "Angustifolia" from southeast Asia. It grows very fast but I did a mistake to mind. Someone here told me not to cut the mother plant when there are side shoots and better cut the shoots and replant them when they are big enough... I cut the mother plant. Now all still alive but growth is really slow. It is a stem plant but see you attached it to a driftwood[FONT=&quot]

I have since moved it off the wood to the back of the tank.
