I was thinking guppy grass as well, I pulled it from the river by my house so not sure what it is though it grows incredibly fast which is a plus.

It can become a nuisance super fast.....

I found Guppy grass in my pond once. The weird thing was, I never put any around there. I never even heard of it, so it must have been planted on its own.
