Correct spelling is Lamprologus lethops...no "r" if I am not mistaken

And I'm fairly sure that if that is correct, it is found in the Congo river not Lake Tanganyika. :silly:

OK, this could be a tough one too. No more North American trout species, back to Africa and cichlids I will give one clue: this african cichlid is found in the Tanganyika watershed

But still a misnomer as technically the area surrounding the lake is in the Congo watershed....

The blind cichlid it lives in river canyons though as far down as 156 meters. Interesting fish
