A couple of weeks ago, I set up a small Q tank for a goldfish fry and I took some gravel from the main tank to put in the QT. I now noticed a snail with semi-transparent shell in the QT. Can anyone identify what kind of snail is this? How big do these become?

I think I've never found any in the main tank because they probably get eaten. I don't mind having it in the main tank as long as it doesn't invade the whole place and eat my plants.

yep its a ramshorn snail and can grow to about an inch, will only eat dead or decaying plant matter.
