if you were to box it in, the negative space between the curve and the glass might be enough for your canisters and other equipment... and a corner would be an ideal location.
Put two really tall, nice and full, plants on either side to fill the voids. Maybe some standing bamboo. It might fill the gaps and add greenery to the sides when viewing from the front. Just a thought.
I dont think it would look very good. Bowfronts look better when placed the way they are meant to be. The main reason people buy bowfronts is because they just look cool, not for added depth.
Not quite what you're talking about, but I remember seeing a tank, while living in So. Cal. that was custom built, with a bow front and bow sides. It made me a bit sick to walk around.
