Ideal temperatures?

Is there an ideal temp for a planted tank? I've been running mine at 79 with the fish in mind, but have seemingly stressed some of the plants.

If all your plants are tropical species, that temp should be fine.

hmm - guess I have to look elsewhere. The most stressed are the Vals, which just seem to be shedding old leaves for shiny new ones which I think might be normal after adjusting to new surroundings, and my roseafolia which since I moved it from the edge of the tank to a central area with more concentrated lighting, it's been showing signs of growth.

79 is good. Mosses get sensitive at mid to lower 80's.

I stick to 80-81, my angelfish gets priority, but I have no issues growing anything.
