Ideas and tips on Paludariums wanted for a beginner.

I dont know what theyre called but they are green and black.

Dendrobates auratusHuh. They like high humidity right and are one of the easiest darts if I remember. Terrestrial or Canopy?

So lots of bromeliads, moss and a little pool with waterfall would be good?

I would like to have a pair possibly.

Here is my little 5.5g. It was to house ghost shrimp for the purpose of feeding my pictus but as my pictus is soon to be leaving and I like ghost shrimp aesteticaly speaking it is going to become a mini terrarium. I would also like some advice on what to put in here. Plants and animals wise.

As for my slate and grout backgrounds would these be acceptable for a dart?



And in my 90 would Java be the way to go for a moss groundcover? Or dwarf baby tears?

5.5 is pretty tiny, you could get a little micro gecko

I think I might just use it to house plants or maybe my crickets while they sit on death row. I mainly just 'scaped it because I hate tanks you can see through the backwall and the bottoms are done up really nice. Its kinda like rusted out trucks with $600 rims on them.

Here are some updates I made to the tank today. I added Dracaena godseffiana "florida Beauty" and syngonium podophyllum nephthytis "maria"
I also added some malaysian driftwood, java moss, duckweed, and a red dwarf lily.





I have no idea what this little guy is though any help?


What do I need to know if I want to get 4 Whisker shrimp to put in here. Is there enough room (15 G with 8 Glofish, 12 malaysian trumpet snails, and 2 flying foxes). Will my Newts eat them? How big do they get?

That looks like Anubias nana petite. Very easy to grow and there's a lot you can do with it. Grows real slow, though, so be patient. It's gorgeous.

^ I wish I had a pot of those. I would take out the bark substrate and replace it with Sphagnum Peat moss. You can find it at a hardware store's garden area for about 5 dollars for a bag to completely fill a 55 gallon tank. It feels alot softer and it holds water pretty well.
