What I do with baby endlers

Yes they breed like rabbits :). I have a cross with wild guppie (couldn't get endler females, but the babies now are looking pure endler when grown up). I have them in a 2 gallon with filtration and of course can't have all the babies growing up. That's where my two betta's help. Their bowls are next to the endler tank. It is like watching TV for them, keeps them from getting bored. Then every once in a while when I have extra babies, they get some to hunt down and get exercise with (as well as rounding out their diets). They have decent sized bowls too where they can swim some, I think those dinky ones where they don't even have room to turn around in are cruel.

I don't have a digital camra that I can download

pictures with me, but their granddad, or great granddad, was a pure endler and they are a spitting image of him (red, green, black). Fish stores often only sell male endlers. A co-worker had a tank full of nice wild strain guppies, and I had a female lyretail guppy. The fish were left in the 2 gallon aquarium and I have the 2 sons from the endler wild guppy cross, and I guess grand daughters from the cross. The sons look funny (though pretty), they are kind of a lyretail with a black and red chevron pattern to their tails. The original 100% endler died of old age, but his offspring continue. I won't trade them since they're mutts (not 100% endler), and use extras as feeders, but they are pretty :).

If I can find a way I'll take a picture of them, how do you post a picture to the board?
