with dimmensions 48x24x24 I'm not going to jump in this head over heels so this is where I need you to give me an idea if I am on the wright track

This is what i'm planning for so far
LIGHTS : Nova Extreme T-5 Fix w/lunar lights 432 W ( my guess 3.6 wpg)
CO2 : Dr foster and smith Fully- automatic
FILTER : Eheim Pro 2028 ( I think for 150 g)
HEATER : Visi Therm Stealt 250 w ( do I have enough with one )

So what do you think i would like to here your opinions I'm willing to spend some money but on the right equipment this is going to be my dreamtank I want to get it right from the first time
Oh and the lunar light comes in handy because Im planning on a Black Ghost Knife fisch

Thanks Kaboke

i dont know about some of filters and lights.

but i would recommend getting two heaters that when combined equal the total amount of heat you want to create. place heaters on opposite sides of the tank to distribute the heat evenly.

the wpg rule for heaters varies on locations..some areas stay warm year round may not need that much..but in general 5wpg is a good guide to use..having more than one heater is a good failsafe.
the eheim 2028 may not give you the turn over you may need . you would probably want to look at adding another unit on there or...
for a 150 you may want to get one with an over flow and use a sump(wet/dry) filter..for larger tanks this is the way to go. you can then add a ugj or powerheads to improve circulation in dead spots. a single filter rated for that tank may not provide enough circulation for the tank.
many of the larger tanks utilize dual over flows that way you can have a pump for each over flow.

I installed an over flow for my 110 x
and am running a a 6000 quiet one pump on it(1500 gph+) this is for my marine tank I also run 2 power heads
in my 75 g SA tank I am running a 25g sump with 1250 gph pump and still run 2 small powerheads on this.

I believe that the lighting and Co2 system you are looking at should be fine for an aquarium of that size. If you haven't already read it Rex's guide is good reading for someone wanting to work with a planted aquarium.

A stealth 250 watt heater is rated to keep a 75g aquarium at 18f above ambient room temperature. In your case I would be looking into two 250 watt stealth heaters.

As far as filtration is concerned I believe you will want to stay away from a wet / dry sump as you will certainly lose a lot of your injected Co2 this way. The eheim 2028 should provide you with plenty of biological filtration for your aquarium. You should, however, consider running two of them on your aquarium or at least have some powerheads to increase circulation. With a planted aquarium you need to avoid having dead spots and having 2 filters can help avoid a catastrophic die off should one of them stop working for some reason.
