Sorry, I know that this is an anemone, but what kind? Trying to get used to the saltwater stuff. Of course it rolls over when the camera is out. Thanks in advance.

I explained in my other thread with my new pictures, that this anemone was in another persons tank and they needed to get him out, they had a cracked pane of glass. Anyway, I know nothing about these, what does it mean by bleached? 5min before this photo was taken it was facing up and the tenicles we all stretched out. I know that it keeps moving around my tank, which is normal, but a little freaky. The water conditions are all in spec. and personally I think that he looks better than he did a few days ago. Any info would be helpful since I try and research before I add, but like I said, it was a phone call that I needed to meet a guy at work because his tank was draining into his house and here we are. Thanks.

give it some food. what are your lights like? it will recover with better lighting and food. what is the temperature in the tank? other parameters?

Thanks for the advice, fed him earlier today, I had some frozen brine shrimp that I pulled up into a piece of airline tubing, and then let it go into his tenticles, He stung me yesterday so I didn't feel like hand feeding him. As far as lights, I have a IceCap 660 pushing two 10,000K VHO's and two acetic VHO's. Temp sits about 78-80 depending on time of day. Like I said, it was opened up earlier, and is open now with the lights off. It's just the term "bleached" freaked me out. I've been sitting here googleing this thing and some are saying that this is more of a PITA then anything. Thanks.
