I was in the LFS today, and was curious about these "assorted cichlids" they had. Here's the pics:
I don't know much about cichlids... I'm just getting back into aquariums again, and I've had marine aquariums in the past.
I did some searching and 2nd one looks like a Melanochromis Auratus. I don't know what the 1st pic is though. Thanks!

Just guessing on the 1st 2: left yellow lab, right zebra? I think your right on the bottom

Yeah the 2nd pic is of an auratus... and extremely aggressive mbuna and will most likely beat your little yellow lab up

The first pic is of a yellow lab or labidochromis caereleus on the left, and the fish on the right could possibly be some sort of zebra. Its really hard to tell, might also be some sort of hybrid. It might help to have a better pic but i know its hard.

What size is this tank btw?

It's a 55 gallon. I'll try to take some better pics...

Thanks for the help!

Im not sure and it may be the angle of the picture, but is the yellow lab missing part of it's tail?

No, it's just the angle or something. Here's a few more pictures:

In that picture the second one looks just like the yellow lab.... do you think it looks the same or slightly different? (in real life) ;)

It looks just like the yellow lab, except it doesn't have any black on it's fins.

I think black on the fins is a female trait. Someone correct me if I got that backwards.

Yeah you got it backwards, its USUALLY the males that have darker black on thier fins, but both can have it and sometimes the females can be darker. SO thats not really the best method of sexing them.

To me, it looks like a yellow lab but possibly has something else in it, maybe zebra or even peacock. It just looks a little different... but it could just be a regular yellow lab that turned out a little odd. It happens... fish are like people everyone is a little different.
