    I'm confused whether it is black nasty cichlid or cuban cichlid

    looks like Cuban - tetracanthus

    Regardless which species, both are best kept alone or in pairs, not in a community, and at temperatures of 82-86F

    They are also difficult to keep in some instances and very prone to bloat
