If 100 people gave just ten dollars to a memeber on this forum he could get a really good start on a 100+ gallon tank he's been dreaming about for a long time. I wonder if it's possible? Would it be ok to do? Would people do it? I've been thinking about it off and on for a few weeks, and I thought, why not? I don't know this person, but he(?) seems really nice. Just your typical hard working guy. If you read enough posts, you tend to get a feeling about people and the type of life they lead. I know this guy is hard-core into aquariums, is married, and has two kids. He's on an allowance from his wife and everything he does is on a budget. He's been dreaming about a 100+ gallon tank for some time. He's helped countless people on this forum. I would donate 10 bucks to the tank fund in payment for the advice I've been given and just to make someone really happy. Just wanted to send this out there and see if it is possible.

eh, I think everyone would argue over who the one is to get the money ;-)

A few years ago, there was something a lot like this where you get a list of 5 names and send them a dollar with names of people to send a dollar too. People claimed to get thousands this way, but I'm not so sure... Most people aren't looking to just give their money away to anyone who will take it. There are groups called blue collar workers and college students who don't have much to give either ;-)
