Wish I had heard about EI dosing and cheap dry ferts from day 1. Along with how much CO2 I should have been running (not the falsehood that more than 20-25ppm will kill your fish). Would have saved me a ton of awful algea.
And also I should have better researched the size of plants, as most of the plants in my 75g are now covering the surface and blocking most of the light. Too bad most of them I cannot prune shorter
