If you could stock my 55g...

Mbuna...either a Psd. saulosi species tank or one with Psd. demasoni, yellow labs, and Psd. acei.

Or maybe large rainbowfish with a large school of corys.

I'm getting better at the scientific names of cichlids, but that even looks like Greek to me! I can't imagine what someone would think of that if they didn't know much about them... O__o;;

I know it frustrates me to no end that my own LFS owner doesn't know what some of her fish are beyond their common names. She's had something she calls a 'sunset peacock' cichlid in there for the longest time and I've searched high and low for anything with a similar common name that remotely looks like it and I'm stumped. She also has something she calls an 'ice blue' that doesn't look like the powder blues or ice blues as I know them... O__o;;

The only thing she seemed to get right was the electric yellow labs!!

But enough of my topic hi-jacking. :P

I think you'd be delighted by the antics of cichlids. It's much different from the peaceful community species I used to keep. But a nice school of cardinal or neon/black neon tetras along with the tets you already have... swap the CAE for a pair of small, pretty plecostamos... maybe add a pretty gourami or angelfish for color and interest... it'd be a big change in a good way.
