If you had a big tank............

I'd keep synodontis eupterus!...heehee. Yeah a breeding group of them with a fry tank ready to go.

OK, if I got another tank and it was at least 180 gal, prerably a 210 I'd get an Australian arowana.
IF Asian arowanas become legal and I got richer, then I'd spring for a low end Asian aro. They are so beautiful.
Depending on what kind of aro I got I'd plan on keeping my aro solo or with small shoaling fish such as cardinal tetras or a pair of sailfin plecos. As far as I know a jardini won't tolerate much in a tank in this size...so if I went with a jardini, probably a solo fish setup. Not sure about the compatibility of a pair of sailfin plecos and a leichardti or Asian. Since I have other tanks to work with, not terribly concerned about tankmates and I think I'd enjoy a solo arowana if tankmates didn't work out.

PS: I think even a 300 may be too small for a pacu.

bigfish for a tank that size id put mr burger king from your avatar since hes a monster

Let's see. The biggest thing in there are my 7 herotilapia multispinosas, then there are some mollies a few swords, some mickey mouse platies, a half dozen corydoras, 4 gold barbs, some rasbora hets, about 6 glowlight tetras some black neons, a small pleco and an old large angel. There may be a few others because I lose track. It is a lively alive kind of tank rather than go for the few huge fish that prevent me keeping anything else.

I would have a tank full of cat's, syno's, pictus, id's....oooo that is what i have lol

In the other 300 I would have shovelnose...... mmmmm love those guys (yes I'm a cat women)

300 is a bit small, if I had the money and the room, I'd spring for a 10,000 gallon arapaima gigas tank or pond with some black and silver arowanas :grinyes::grinyes::grinyes:
