Harlock is a guy. He is really trying to help in a humerous way. As I understand his translation, he is talking in a way a medevial noble person might speak. Not intended as an insult to you. I think the translation was fairly accurate...the first one anyway.
If you ID'd a fish correctly and no one listened to you...you could repost and include a link to a site or a pic that verifies your identification.
Also...not sure who you think you'd report Harlock to, or what for. You were much more insulting to him than you may have thought he was to you. And I think you understand quite well.
