lately ive notice my angel has been swimming tilted or almost on his side. my water is fine, had it tested today at the LFS near my house. is this normal or is something wrong?

Wish I could help, I used to know someone with angel that only had one eye which caused it to swim tilted and sometimes on it's side. Besides the swimming does he look act normal?
he acts normal most of the time, eatting when its feeding time, exploring the tank sometimes. but hes mostly at the top by the filter or in a rock cave i have in there, or behind some decorations.
i was thinking he might be lonely and was gonna pick up a mate for him. but im hesitent incase its an illness. hes the only angel in his tank along with a female betta, 8 neon tetras, and 3 ottos.
