no, i'm not. i'd love to go. my mother has flyer miles saved up, it wouldn't cost that much to go there.

hmmmmm..... I wonder how many flights there are between anchorage and peoria.... not many i'd guess, if any at all. I might need to come down from chicago to peoria, then there's the fact that i'm going it alone, and I don't have a driver's license. maybe you could come and pick me up form the airport if I have to go to chicago? it's what, 2-3 hours from peoria? if I could manage a direct flight, I guess I could walk to your house. I mean, it's only 2 miles. hmmmmm........

you wouldn't beleive the confidence my mother has in me. I have always been a very independent child, and my mother has not worries I won't be able to take care of myself. now for lodging..... I suppose I could stay at a local hotel, or even just crash with nursie for a night.
