Hey guys,

Well, I had three unexpected surprises last night! I never thought it would actually happen. I know my guppies were all male and I thought my platys were all male too. But there they were between my rocks, two fry and one was swimming around. I don't have an extra tank so I ran to the store today and got a breeding net for now. Unfortunately I couldn't find the third one this morning.

Anyways, any advice? I really need some here considering it is unplanned.

Get another tank set up to grow out the fry. I've got 13 platy fry in a breeder net right now (in my 10g), and they're doing fine, but it's not a long term solution. I've got to set up my new 20g and move the adults and shrimp over, then the fry will have the 10g to themselves. The fry will have to wait until I'm back from vacation (10 days). Hopefully they'll do okay while I'm gone. :)
