I'm absolutely insane... anyone else like this?

grr......your on my "do not give cupcake" list now

I love thunderstorms, my Mom used to yell at me because I'd go out on the deck to watch the lightning.

As far as other fears, I don't really know...none of the typical ones anyway. Love snakes, insects, spiders are pretty cool, I love getting lost, not claustrophobic at all...shrug.

JM, all I can picture is you with a piece of tape stuck to the back of your hand, frantically waving it around to get it off, like a cat lol.

Aw c'mon man you're not afraid of anything? Sploke the man without fear!:grinyes:

How about crosses there spike?

I'm afraid of octopuses. Ever since I was little I had nightmares of one killing me. There is also a giant wolf spider under the table where my printer is.

I am also afraid of death.

Death doesn't bother me. Dying, on the other hand, particularly if I slowly lose my mind on the way out, gives me the shivering blue willies.

Oh, and camel spiders tip my queaseometer to the red. I'm not a fan of the multilegged & chitonus when paired with significant biting apparatus (though not to phobic proportions), but those are essentially an excuse for God to put four talons at ankle height (and at night, when you can't see them, and you may be laying in a nice, warm sleeping bag, and they come and want to snuggle... :eek3::eek3::eek3::eek3::eek3::eek3:) Fortunately, I have never met one in person, but they can provoke a fight/flight response from me from half a world away.

Haha funny...nah there are things that startle me, like if I walk into a dark basement and a spider lands on my face, I twitch a little bit, but then I realize what it is and get over it.

Storms don't bother me in the least...I'm usually out with my camera trying for that "perfect shot" :D

Wasps are a different story. I may need glasses to read a book, but I can spot a Wasp flying half a block away!

If that Wasp gets close enough that I can hear the *buzz*...it's all over, I go into a blind panic and run! If you are between me and the nearest exit I WILL take you out... Over you, through you, it doesn't matter...I am GONE. Takes about 15 minutes for my heart-rate to go back to normal.

I've gotten better over the years, and as long as I can SEE the wasp I can control myself...but if I hear that *buzz* and I can't see where it is, something in my head just SNAPS and I lose all control.
